This policy explains, in plain language, what data VidMint collects, why we collect it, how long we keep it and the rights you have over it. The short version: your videos are never used to train AI, analytics are aggregated and anonymized, and you can delete everything from Settings.
VidMint collects three categories of data: account data (email and profile), content data (videos you choose to upload or publish) and product analytics (aggregated feature-usage events that contain no video content).
Account data identifies you and secures your wallet. Content data is stored so the app can edit, sync and publish your videos at your request. Product analytics tell us which features are used and where the app crashes; these events are aggregated and stripped of identifiers before analysis. We do not collect contact lists, precise location or data from other apps.
Your data is used for exactly four purposes: operating the editor and sync, running mint-reward scoring on videos you publish, keeping the community safe through moderation, and improving the product through aggregated analytics.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not run third-party advertising networks in the app. Mint scoring processes only videos you explicitly publish to the community — private drafts are never scored, shared or reviewed unless you report a technical problem and ask us to look.
VidMint does not use your videos, drafts, captions or audio to train AI models — neither our own models nor third-party models — and this restriction applies to every plan, every region and every content type.
AI features in VidMint, such as auto captions and auto cut, process your media on demand to deliver the feature you tapped. That processing is transient: it produces your caption track or cut list and is not retained as training data. If this policy ever changes, it will require your explicit opt-in, and this page will be updated before any change takes effect.
You can access, export, correct and delete your data directly in the app: Settings includes download-my-data and delete-account controls, and deletion removes your videos, wallet history and profile within a documented retention window.
Depending on your region, you may have additional rights under laws such as GDPR or CCPA, including the right to object to processing and the right to lodge a complaint with a regulator.
